The STYLES 

I teach Musical Theater, Jazz, Rock, Country, Folk, 

R & B,  Classical "legit" and Contemporary Popular styles. I encourage students to consider singing in more than one style for vocal agility, flexibility and variety. 

The LESSONS 

Voice lessons for all ages and levels. Focus on any and all aspects of vocal production of interest to you including consistent tone and resonance, breathing  for singing and "support", register blending (mix), range extension, broadway "belting", "legit" ("classical") style, pitch accuracy and musicianship (music reading & sight-singing training upon request), stage presence, character work, audition preparation, college prep, choir singing. 

My specialty is musical theatre and pop but I do have extensive training in and love to teach the classical ("legit" or operatic) style. I believe that singers do not have to limit themselves to any one style if they don't want to, and that it is actually vocally healthy to work the voice in all the different ways with varying style techniques. All ages and levels welcome.

Vocal Coaching focuses on musical phrasing, diction, note and rhythm accuracy, acting (character work) and stage performance prep. All lessons will definitely include some level of the coaching aspect. 

The Most Contemporary PEDAGOGY 

All voice lessons feature voice building concepts and exercises that are customized for each student and are based on the most recent research on vocal production. These concepts provide the student with extremely effective methodology for range extension, vocal agility, vocal health, style versatility, working through the passagio (vocal break) and more.
