The STYLES 

I teach Musical Theater, Jazz, Rock, Country, Folk, 

R & B,  Classical "legit" and Contemporary Popular styles. I encourage students to consider singing in more than one style for vocal agility, flexibility, fun  and variety!

The LESSONS 

Voice lessons for ALL ages and levels. Focus on any and all aspects of vocal production of interest to you including tone and resonance, register blending (mix), range extension, broadway belting, "legit" (classical/operatic) style, twang, ring, pitch accuracy and musicianship (music reading & sight-singing training upon request), stage presence, character work, audition prep, college prep, studio recordings, choir singing, you name it. 

My specialty is contemporary musical theatre and pop, but I also love the "Golden Age" musical theatre style. I do have extensive training in the "legit" (operatic) style so I can offer training in that as well. 

Vocal Coaching focuses on musical phrasing, diction, note and rhythm accuracy, character work and stage performance prep. Know that most lessons will definitely include some level of the coaching aspect. 

The Most Contemporary PEDAGOGY 

All voice lessons include voice building concepts and exercises that are customized for each student and are based on the most recent research on vocal production. These concepts provide the student with extremely effective and (most of the time) instantaneous results. This methodology works wonders for range extension, vocal agility, vocal health, style versatility, working through the passagio (vocal break) and more.
